Explore the Beautiful National Park

Outdoor Activities

The Inn is across from the Hot Springs Mountain.
Hiking Trails begin from our front gate.

Hiking & Biking

From short 30 minute walks to all day Hiking.

Our guests have access to several miles of hiking trails leading up to the Mountain Tower, Goat Rock trail and Gulpha Gorge Campground.  There’s a spring fed cold water dipping hole at Gulpha Gorge creek.  Although Indian Mountain is part of the National Forest, there are no marked trails and only experienced hikers should attempt this section.

Stroll the Grand Promenade down from the Inn.  It's above the Bathhouses and leads to the Arlington Park where the Hot Springs water cascade into a small pool area - too hot to jump in, but great scenery.

Other areas to Hike and Explore: West Mountain/Balance Rock, Lake Ouachita & Lake Catherine, Entergy park & Cedar Glades.

For Mountain Biking we recommend Cedar Glades Park.  A ten minute drive takes you to this wonderful park with Mountain Biking as well as a Disc Golf Course.  Open to the public free of charge.

Hot Springs Mountain Tower

A Hot Springs landmark and is located atop Hot Springs Mountain in the National Park.

This 216-foot superstructure affords a breathtaking panorama encompassing 140 miles of beautiful Hot Springs, the Ouachita Mountains and the surrounding Diamond Lakes. It's a great way to start off or end a day of sightseeing in Hot Springs National Park.
